Underwater research west lake hanoi: TU Delft and partners are doing research with 2 universities from Hanoi in the upcomming years. Aquatic drones are one of the innovations that will be applied. New generation of engineers Deputy Minister Vo Tuan Nhan and minister van Nieuwenhuizen officially launched the Climate Proof Vietnam programme that aims to train a new generation of engineers who are well equipped to protect their land against the water. Over the next three years, two Dutch universities (Delft and Twente) and two Vietnamese universities (Hanoi and Thuy Loi) will support such training of Vietnamese water management professionals. Deputy Minister Vo Tuan Nhan and Minister Van Nieuwenhuizen launching an underwater drone to mark the start of a training programme for a new generation of water engineers

De TU Delft gaat met partners als INDYMO de komende drie jaar Vietnam ondersteunen met het opleiden van professionals op het gebied van waterbeheer. Het programma Climate Proof Vietnam is woensdag officieel van start gegaan in de Vietnamese hoofdstad Hanoi. Minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen (IenW) zette hiertoe samen met haar Vietnamese collega vice-minister Vo Tuan Nhan een Delftse onderwaterdrone voor het testen van waterkwaliteit aan het werk in een meer in Hanoi.
