Description

160 m² m Wetland (http://athene.geo.univie.ac.at/pucher/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album55&id=IMGP1268) to treat 60 m³ greywater per day from a hammam (public bath) consisting of two parralel trains of a HF and a VF bed. The design was made by the Institut Agronomique et Vétérinaire of Rabat with the assistance of the Zer0-M project team (http://www.zer0-m.org/partners.htm), especially AEE INTEC. <br><br>The treated wastewater is buffered in an undergroud 50 m³ tank and used for irrigation of the green spaces in town. A 2 km distribution system with regular outlets for irrigation pipes was built for that purpose.
