Rainwater nuisance tunnel motorway A73 - design flaw drainagesystem

Description

The drainage system of this tunnel is not properly designed. The gutter crosses the cyclepath instead of alongside the round shaped cross-section of the road.

Samenvatting (Dutch description)

De tunnel vormt de verbinding tussen stadsdeel Dukenburg en het recreatiegebied Berendonck. Er is een ontwerpfout gemaakt in de afwatering. De weg is tondrond en watert af naar de zijkant. De liggign van de tnnel zorgt voro veel aanvoer van bloesem en bladval bij regen. De goten raken aan de zijkant verstopt en het meeste water stroomt door de tunnel in. Beste oplossing is of de weg in asfalt niet tonrond maken of de goot met rooster parallel aan de weg te leggen.
