Description
Constructed salt Marsh is a way to build a nature-based coastal defense while supporting nature and its biodiversity. This NBS helps restore the natural ecology instead of enforcing manmade structures like dams, coastal walls, etc., which are not able to withstand the quick changes in sea levels and cause harm to the ecology of the area. The NBS Can help with restoring the natural ecosystem that in turn will help us deal with natural calamities like spaces like the flooding of Urbana spaces. This will help urban spaces to be safer but not by fighting against nature but by working along with it. The NBS can work in all urban, peri-urban, and rural all contexts It just needs land with the historical use of salt Marsh.
