Green Facade - Vegesack

Description

A green facade at an old factory that is about to be redeveloped. It is located in Vegesack, a part of Bremen Nord. Boston Ivy (Parthenocissus tricuspidata) is growing on this wall. The leaves of the plant are reddish in spring, green in summer and red again in fall (as seen in the photo’s). The plants produce greenish-white flowers between june and july. Dark blue berries then grow, which birds enjoy.
