Description
kasteelmolen Baarlo In 1326, the water mill in Baarlo belonged to the Huys Baerlo, the present-day Kasteel d'Erp. The mill belonged to the category of 'subsoiler mills' and was converted in 1850 into an oil mill with a conveying system.
The mill was in operation until 1960. After the mill was purchased by the former Maasbree municipality, it was restored in 1976. From 1996 onwards, the mill was once again used as a grain mill.

watermolen ("De Sjpeulhof")
- sjpeulen is spoelen/wassen - ligt op enkele meters afstand van de wasplaats. Van deze watermolen wordt in 1326 voor het eerst melding gemaakt. De watermolen behoorde toe aan het "Huys tot Baerlo" (kasteel d'Erp). Het huidige gebouw dateert uit het begin van de 17e eeuw. Tot 1960 was de watermolen in bedrijf.
De molen behoort tot de categorie "onderslagmolens". In 1850 werd de watermolen omgebouwd tot oliemolen. Vanaf 1900 deed ze weer dienst als graanmolen.
Na aankoop van de watermolen door de gemeente Maasbree werd de molen in 1796 geheel gerestaureerd.
