Description

.5 concrete infiltration units (diameter 2 m) concrete units with 25 mm holes, surrounded by 30 cm of 16 -32 mm Grauwacke rocks and geotextile. The traffic jumps are used to guide the stormwater flow. And sspecifically is chosen for a traffic jum on the north side. This controbutes is the prevention of a surface flow from the Berg en Dalseweg to the lower situated Daalseweg.


Samenvatting (Dutch description)

In 2014 zijn in de Frans Halsstraat als pilot 5 grote infiltratie zakputten aangelegd. Ze zijn 2 m in doorsnee en 2-3 m diep. De wanden hebben gaten van 25 mm. Elke zakput is omgeven door een laag grauwacke van ca 30 cm met daar omheen geotextiel. In de straat is gewerkt met verkeersdrempels om het water mede te reguleren en te voorkomen dat regenwater vanaf de Berg en Dalseweg stroomt naar de Daalseweg.
