swale in newly built area of Den Ham village. The looks are like the first swales in the netherlands in the city of Enschede (1995) with boulders. The boulders symbolize how the landscape of the area came into existence in the glacial period. leaving the boulders as existing remainder. The swale processes water from the surrounding roofs and street and had apreantly no bypass,


Samenvatting (Dutch description)

Een wadi in een nieuwbouwgebied in Den Ham. Kenmerkend voor deze wadi is dat deze met zwerfkeien is bekleed. Dit is typisch voor de eerste wadi's die in enschede werden gemaakt in 1995. het idee als zwerfkeien als symbool van de ijstijd. De wadi verwerkt het regenwater van de daken dat bovengronds samen met het regenwater van de straat naar de wadi stroomt. Het lijkt erop dat de wadi geen slokop heeft.
